GOOD NEWS! Representatives from both Service Canada AND Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will be at the POINT ALEXANDER LIBRARY on 22 NOVEMBER 2024, 10:30am-1:30pm

SERVICE CANADA will be in your community to answer questions and help you apply for the programs and services listed below:
Social Insurance Number (SIN), Employment Insurance (EI), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), Passport applications, My Service Canada Account (MSCA), and Canada Dental Plan.
Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will provide information about benefits and credits and general tax awareness.
Apart from that , they will also be able to provide CARES referral.
CARES (Client Assistance Referral and Enquiry Service) is a phone referral service for Outreach Officers and Service Canada Citizen Services Agents to assist clients. CARES phone support is intended for individuals who are experiencing barriers accessing government benefit and credits or accessing a CVITP clinic. CARES can assist taxpayers who have a modest income with CRA account specific needs. This includes individuals with gross household income less than $65,000.
