The Friends of the Laurentian Hills Library will be having their next meeting on Wednesday, September 24 at 1:30 pm in the Municipal Hall, Point Alexander, including coffee/tea and goodies. Anyone who is interested is welcome! Please RSVP by email to lhlibraryfriends@gmail.com by Monday, 22 September so we know how many chairs are needed.
For 25 years, the Friends group has been supporting the Library by fundraising, with events, and by promoting the library. As well as the fun of having a chat and catching up with everyone, the Friends look forward to the occasional event such as a book sale or other fundraising effort to help support the good work of both the Point Alexander Branch Library and the Chalk River Branch Library. Suggestions and good ideas are welcome, especially good ideas.
